God, Be Our Light

Pamela D. Vaughan
  1. Abba Father, Hear our prayers this day as we humbly bow before you.  Lord, we come to give you all honor and praise for just allowing us to see another day in a new month that we have never seen before and will never be blessed to witness again.

  3. We give you thanks for each blessing big and small because you are our creator.  All glory and honor belong to you and to you alone.  Lord, as we sit at your feet, we pray for deliverance during this time of pandemic and pain.  We need your deliverance from the evil one that seeks to steal, kill, and destroy the hope we have in You.

  5. Lord, continue to be our Jehovah Jireh, providing for our needs and Jehovah Shalom that gives us peace.

  7. Heavenly Father, walk with us along life’s highways being our light in dark places. For Psalms 119:105 says that your word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path.  God, we need you in these dark days that we find ourselves in and we trust in the promises that you have provided.

  9. You are Jehovah Elohim and we recognize that we can do nothing without you.  You are our way maker, miracle worker, promise keeper, and light in the darkness so we come laying our petitions at your feet knowing that you hear and will answer our prayers according to your will.

  11. We offer you this prayer in the matchless name of Jesus the Christ, our Lord and Savior.

  13. Ase’ and Amen.
