A Prayer of Joy in the Fellowship of God
Rev. Dr. Sabrina St. Clair
Today we are reminded that there is joy in the fellowship of You. As your son David declared these precious lyrics to you when he found himself in the wilderness, we too declare these same words to you in this time of great uncertainty and distress.
O God, You are my God,
Early will I seek You,
my soul thirsts for You;
my flesh longs for You,
in a dry and weary land where there is no water.
2 So I have looked for You in the sanctuary,
To see Your power and Your glory.
3 Because Your loving kindness is better than life,
my lips shall praise You.
4 Thus I will bless You while I live;
I will lift up my hands in Your name.
My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness,
And my mouth shall praise You with joyful lips.
Psalm 63:1-5 (New Spirit Filled Life Bible)
This prayer of praise we lift up to You, Almighty God, in the name of our precious Lord and Savior, Jesus the Christ.
